I’m not kidding when I say that I love ball exercises. Why? Because they are challenging, they constantly require you to engage the core and work on balance, which is VERY important. Balance is one of the first things to go as we age and discontinue exercise. This is only one of the many exercises you can do with the ball. Go ahead and perform it on your hands if your wrists are strong enough. This move can also be progressed to jack knife on ball – more challenging and targets transverse abdominals. The difference is, instead of bending at the knees to pull the ball in, you are hinging at the hips. The bum pushes upward as you pull the ball in, making you come into a pike position. TRY IT OUT!!!! 🙂
