Pilates Reformer classes
All Pilates Reformer classes are performed on the Pilates Reformer®.
Restorative Reformer Pilates – a gentle form of integrated Pilates movements on the Reformer and other equipment. These classes are best suited for participants with mobility issues due to injury or for other health reasons.
Reformer classes – all are progressive and challenging total body workouts, designed to increase your overall strength and muscle tone, as well as improve your balance, coordination and flexibility.
Reformer: Level 1 – for participants who have completed (or are currently taking) introductory Pilates training (private and/or group training)
Reformer: Level 2 – intermediate level, for those who have completed a minimum of Intermediate Pilates Mat program or the Reformer Level 1 classes.
Reformer: Level 3 – advanced level of Reformer training, for those seeking greater challenges.
Body Balance CoreAlign® classes
The CoreAlign® method stimulates the core stability muscles to fire while performing challenging exercises. It involves very deep stretching and core-controlled aerobic training. The method is used for musculoskeletal rehabilitation and improves athletic performance. CoreAlign® exercises demand natural, flowing, full-body motions that help improve standing posture and physical movements. Classes facilitate a functional blend of posture, strength, flexibility, motor control and body orientation in space.
All CoreAlign® classes are performed on the Balanced Body CoreAlign. As a certified Master CoreAlign® instructor, Rachel teaches:
Restorative Core Align – a foundational class, best suited for beginners or anyone with injuries. This class focuses on balance, posture and proper alignment while moving.
Core Align: Level 1 – a beginner class, designed to target balance, coordination and full body integration in movement. This class also incorporates strength, flexibility and mobility and promotes proper alignment.
Core Align: Level 2 – an intermediate/advanced class, conducted at a faster pace than the others. This class focuses more on elevating balance, core strength and works the entire body in a variety of angles.
