This trauma-informed workshop explores how life experiences are carried in the body through
posture, movement, breath, and patterns of effort.
Participants are guided to develop awareness of their own nervous system responses and to
recognize how these patterns shape both physical experience and behaviour over time.
The workshop integrates counselling principles, somatic awareness, and NeuroMovement® to
support meaningful and sustainable change.
● Understand the role of the nervous system in stress, adaptation and aging
● Explore the window of tolerance
● Identify personal patterns of tension, posture, and movement
● Experience practical tools for regulation and awareness
● Develop a more compassionate relationship with their body
Beverly Manchester, MC, RCC, is a counsellor and NeuroMovement® practitioner with a
background in somatic and movement-based approaches.
Her work integrates neuroscience, therapeutic practice, and embodied learning to help
individuals understand how their experiences are held in the body and how change can occur
through awareness and movement.
