Day 4
We drove from Sleeping Giant Provincial Park into Thunder Bay, where we grabbed coffee before our kettlebell workout with Corey Wesley. (Check out his website – http://www.kettlebellscience.com/). We did an hour workout within view of the Sleeping Giant. Solly and Corey exchanged tips and ideas as the workout went on and both Solly and I got our butts kicked.

The workout was:
15 Snatches
15 Clean and Presses
15 Swings
15 Front Squats
15 Rows
15 Push Ups
4x
We met some friends during our workout who were enjoying watching us suffer and wanted to pose with us and our kettlebells.
We quickly grabbed lunch at the Superstore. We were done surviving off of trail mix, summer sausage and homemade protein bars. We grabbed boiled eggs, chicken bacon wrap, a roasted chicken and veggies and hummus. NO, we did not eat all of this in one sitting. It fed us for the rest of the day, but any of my clients who argue with me that they don’t have time, we grabbed all pre-made items that aren’t horrible for us. This is why I say pop into the grocery store instead of going through the drive thru!!!
After we ate, we drove to Kakabeckah falls. Quickly, walked around but we wanted to clean up so we drove on. We found a RV campsite on the side of the road, which we stopped and ate again and cleaned up in the bathrooms.
Tire squating – debated about flipping it
I also made some friends along the highway. I was always told I should be Tina, the yellow power ranger!!!
He’s so cute!- I’m Tina the Yellow Power Ranger
Once we made it Kenora, we set up our tent and then relaxed. The campsite has wifi, guess its not real camping eh. So we quickly responded to emails, etc and then got ready for bed. We get an extra hour of sleep tonight because of the time change!!! YEAH 🙂
