DAY 2
The night got pretty cold but it was easy to fall asleep to the sound of water crashing on the beach. We woke up pretty early and Solly repacked the car – which totally gave us more room. I could have kept my detergent! As we left the “campsite” I looked for Le Cloche signs, there was one for the fort and the region but none for the provincial park. I swear this park doesn’t exist and Ontario Parks and gmaps needs to update their site LOL.
Honouring our women of 2012!We took pictures on the reserve since that was our stop for the night. Then we hopped in the car and started towards Sault St. Marie. We stopped at several farmers’ markets along the way. We bought some summer sausage, which was quite yummy and Solly finally got to use his bear knife.

As we were driving we noticed 2 gas stations on either side of the road. One was priced at 135.7 (Shell) and the other was priced at 137.7 (Esso), but for some reason all the cars were at the ESSO! I think this village needs a math lesson!
We also stopped in Bruce Mills, which was the home of the first copper mine. There was an antique shop, which was fill with random items. Solly found a hat, which he is quite proud of. He is now a proud member of BC Wildlife Federation.

After Bruce Mills, we stopped in Sault Saint Mary to have a coffee and a break. Then we continued on to Lake Superior Provincial Park, which we stopped several times for some scenic views and picture opts. I have to say that windy roads make me very nervous and so do the truck drivers. I was clenching the wheel so tight I needed to take a break from driving and Sol had to take over. I would have driven 40km/hour if it was allowed so that I could feel safe, but then everyone would think it was Grandma driving.
Just doing a few standing roll ups to stretch out!

We stopped at Agawa Bay Campsite and set up our tent. Then we hopped on our bikes with the intent to bike to Agawa Rock Pictographs, but the trail we chose is way longer than if we rode along the highway. I managed to lose control of my bike and scratch up my shin and fall off my bike a little while later. Luckily, I fell into lots of bushes and it was a soft landing and nothing was hurt. We were probably on our bikes for a good hour and half. Our campsite has an awesome view of Lake Superior and the beach, but we aren’t too close that hopefully we are sheltered from the wind.

- We attempted to bike to the pictographs, but the trail is way longer than the highway, so we turned back. I’m so glad I teach cycle or I would have cried.
