Seasoning:

1 tbsp. chili powder

¼ tsp. garlic powder

¼ tsp. onion powder

¼ tsp. red pepper flakes

¼ tsp. oregano

½ tsp. paprika

1 ½ tsp. cumin

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

Mix together

Ingredients:

1 can of chickpeas

Whole-wheat wraps or large leaves of green collars or roman lettuce

Shredded lettuce

Salsa

1% plain yogurt (replaces sour cream)

Tomatoes

Directions:

  1. Rinse the chickpeas and then mash them up

  2. Mix in the seasoning

  3. Heat the chickpeas in a frying pan for about 5-10 minutes on medium heat, add ½ cup of water for moisture.  *  You can either add in the tomatoes or onions here or add them fresh later.

  4. After the chickpeas are heated, place on a wrap then add desired toppings such as salsa, chives/onions, tomatoes, lettuce, yogurt, etc.
